Michael Chernay

Michael Chernay is Sierra’s Server and Network Operations Manager. In his role at Sierra, Michael is both an engineer and manager, and he leads our server and network operations team on improvements in process, technology, and efficiency.

Michael has been with Sierra since 2007, when he joined the team as a server operations engineer. He’s become a staple to the company’s operations, developing the leadership and technical skills to guide the team.

Before joining Sierra, Michael attended Penn State University, where he studied Electrical Engineering and Information Science.

In his free time, his spends time with his family, including his fiancé, daughter, and dog. He also enjoys hiking, biking, cooking, craft beer, bourbon, and music.
